Mrs Crider graduated Summa Cum Laude from Union University in 2003 with a BS in Biology.

Mrs Crider began her teaching career at Red Bank High School in Chattanooga, TN.  There she taught Physical Science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, AP Biology, ACT Prep, and Content Reading.  Mrs Crider also coached Track and Field for RBHS. In 2008, she moved to Crockett County and began teaching at CCHS.  Here she has taught Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, and ACT Prep. She also Coaches Cross Country for CCHS.

I grew up in Jackson and spent most of my childhood playing with my identical twin and doing competitive gymnastics.  In high school I ran cross country and track and also played soccer and basketball; I attended 9 State Championships.  Cross country was always my favorite sport.  My best subject was math but my favorite subject was Biology.  I graduated in 2000 with a 4.12 GPA, 4th in my class.  I then attended Union University majoring in Biology and graduated in 2003 Summa Cum Laude.

Shortly after graduation, I married my high school sweetheart, Mark Crider.  We had dated for 7 years and have currently been married for 8 more.  Mark is the youth pastor at Alamo First Christian Church and he is also the head gymnastics coach at Top Notch Gymnastics, a business we own and run together.  Like me, Mark loves working with teenagers.

I began my teaching career in Chattanooga at Red Bank High School. In my 5 years there I taught Physical Science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, content reading and study skills, ACT Prep, and College Biology.  I also coached Track and Field and took the team to the State meet every year. I had a great experience there.

    In 2008
we moved back to west Tennessee and I started teaching and coaching at CCHS.  In my 4 years here I have taught Biology, Advanced Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, ACT Prep, and Chemistry.  I've also had the privilege of coaching some amazing runners and have taken kids to State the past 4 years including getting to take the whole team last year, a first for CCHS.  I love teaching and coaching at CCHS; we have a great school, amazing faculty, and cool kids!

When I'm not teaching or coaching, I'm most likely running or doing something with my church.  When I can find the time, I also like to read, work math and logic puzzles, play video games with my husband, and hang out with my friends.
